Grouse Mountain is a 4,100 ft. mountain about 15 minutes from downtown. It is open year-round for you to enjoy jaw-dropping views from the eye of the wind (wind turbine), see bears at the wildlife refuge, or learn about the area in the theater. In the summer, hike up the Grouse Grind, watch a Lumberjack show or birds in motion demonstration, paraglide, ride a zip line, mountain bike, or take the Screaming Eagle chairlift for breath taking views. In the winter you can ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or ice skate.

3. Vancouver Aquarium

Vancouver Aquarium is Canada’s largest aquarium. It is located in Stanley Park. The aquarium has over 30 unique exhibits and is home to more than 70,000 creatures including dolphins, sea otters, sea turtles, jelly fish, frogs, and fish.

4. Capilano Suspension Bridge / Lynn Canyon

Capilano Suspension bridge is a 450 ft. bridge suspended 230 feet above the Capilano River. Additionally, you will also find Treetops Adventure which consists of 7 footbridges suspended 110 feet above the forest floor. These bridges provide amazing views of evergreens. There is also a cliff-walk that consists of narrow cantilevered bridges above the Capilano River.

An alternative option to Capilano Suspension Bridge is Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge. It is a rustic 130 ft. bridge suspended 167 feet above Lynn Creek. Also, at Lynn Canyon Creek there is an ecology center and hiking trails.

5. Food Tour
