This is Part 3 of our series on National Parks and how you can visit them by private jet. We continue with Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks.

We are continuing our series on America’s National Parks by private jet. The first blog covered Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and the second blog covered Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. From Canyonlands Airport (CNY) take your private jet to Bryce Canyon Airport (BCE) to explore Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.

A great advantage of using a private jet is the time saved. If you drove from Canyonlands to Bryce Canyon National Park it would take about 4 hours whereas the flight would take about 30 minutes.

Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park is located in Utah. The park is one of the smallest national parks at only 56 square miles. It is famous for its beautiful rock spires called “hoodoos” (horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters carved from the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau), scenic vistas, and the dark night sky.

To make the most of your trip we recommend taking a guided tour of Bryce Canyon National Park Tour. Meet your guide for an awe-inspiring hiking tour of the park’s intricate rock formations (hoodoos) and learn about the geology, flora, fauna, and the people that have lived in the area.

Zion National Park

Zion National Park is also located in Utah. Zion’s 229 square miles includes high plateaus, a maze of sandstone slot canyons, and waterfalls with colorful hanging gardens.

Below are a couple of suggested activities at Zion National Park.

  • Half-Day Guided Hike into Zion National Park – Ascend one of Zion’s most storied features, Angel’s Landing, or opt for a tamer trail if you prefer.
  • Half-Day Zion Canyoneering – Hike, climb, and rappel down narrow slot canyons ranging from 20 to 175 feet high as you learn canyoneering techniques from your expert guides and see the hidden treasures of this incredible park.

Recommended accommodation

We recommend staying at Zion Mountain Ranch. Located in the mountains of Zion National Park, Zion Mountain Ranch offers an authentic western destination. It not only features premier park lodging but is also the unique home of a roaming herd of buffalo.
